Hen Party Poems and Rhymes

Poems for the hen party

A poem can make a really nice touch for a hen party. Are you struggling to write one? Fill in the form on this page and I will be in touch with you to give you some help. Or email me directly on help@henpartyhelp.co.uk with some details as to what you're after.

I can help you write a poem that will be personal to the bride to be and it can be funny and/or sentimental. I've got some great feedback for the poems I've written. One girl has emailed me and said "I love it - that's brilliant. Thank you so much. It actually brought a tear to my eye as I read it. I can just imagine her face as I read it out."  For more poem testimonials, check out the hen party blog.

I've now written several poems for brides to be and some example verses are below.

Two verses for a friend called Liz went like this.....

There once was a girl called our Liz,

Into high fashion, couture and showbiz,

She wants tonight to be sassy,

A little bit classy,

Ending up with a bottle of fizz.

But if there’s one thing she’s forgotten,

It's that us hens can be quite rotten,

And my, my - how we have been busy.

Stories galore,

Rugby dinner and more,

I now feel quite sorry for Lizzie.

Two verses for a girl called Nat went along the lines of..

There once was a girl called Nat,

Who - being a classy hen and all that,

Believes there'll be no penis straws,

No sick in drawers,

Or indeed in her bedside cabinet.

(because she was once sick in her bedside cabinet!!)

But if there's one thing she's forgotten,

Is that us hens can be quite rotten,

But look around - would we ever do that?

So instead we’ll all think,

Whilst taking a drink,

Of all our nice memories of Nat.

Final verses

The final verse can be the one that starts to bring a tear to the eyes of its listeners. Here are some examples of the verses I have written. You just have to change lines 3 and 6 to make sure they rhyme!

So there's just left to say,

 That we're here today,

To say what a truly great friend you have been.

 So please raise your glasses,

 To this group of lasses,

And to our very dear friend, to Maxine.

 And the one for Lizzie...

So there’s just left to say,

 That we’re all here today,

To say how happy we’re sure they will be.

 So please, raise your glasses,

 To this group of lasses,

And to our very dear friend, to Lizzie.

And the one for Fiona.....

So there’s just left to say,

That we’re here today,

With the fond memories since we’ve know her.

So please raise your glasses,

To this group of lasses,

And to our very dear friend, to Fiona.

 And the one for Natalie.....

So there's just left to say,

 That we're here today,

To say how happy we're sure they will be.

 So please raise your glasses

 To this group of lasses

And to our very dear friend, to Natalie.

Hope you have fun writing yours! And remember if you're struggling then just drop me a line using the form above and I will be in touch to help you out!
